Young Evangeline Musicians

Benoît Arsenault, age 11, Riel Arsenault, age 14, and Keera Gallant age 17, form an impressive trio and are already veteran performers who’s music reflects their Acadian roots. Brothers Benoît and Riel are both multi-instrumentalists; Benoît on acoustic guitar, bass guitar, drums and fiddle, and Riel on acoustic guitar, electric guitar, mandolin, banjo and drums. Keera is featured as the lead vocalist, rhythm guitarist and step dancer.
All three of them have extensive resumes despite their young age :
Benoît and Keera were a part of Gold medalist cultural group winners at the Acadian games in NB in 2024 and Benoît is again representing PEI in the cultural sector of the 2025 games in NB.
Riel is already playing as lead guitarist in local seasoned PEI dance bands and is representing PEI in the cultural sector of at the Francophone games in Laval Quebec this summer.
Both brothers perform regularly with their parents, as part of their family band and have recently played in PEI’s Festivals of Small Halls, and will be performing in festivals across PEI this summer.
Keera has participated in a multitude of shows as a vocalist and a step dancer and has represented PEI at a song competition in Granby Quebec. She as well will be performing in the cultural sector of the Francophone games in Laval Quebec this summer.
