Heartfelt Bluegrass

Heartfelt Bluegrass is a family band consisting of Larry and Wilma Jones and her sister Donna Bernard, and distant cousin Jerome Arsenault. The band formed in 2009, originally with Larry, Wilma and Jerome. Donna joined the band two years later.

Heartfelt Bluegrass played at the Evangeline Bluegrass Festivals, St. Louis Bluegrass and Oldtime Music Festivals and also at the Summerside Bluegrass & Acoustic Music Association, formerly called Laurie Bluegrass Festival. And for the first time, they played at Rollo Bay Bluegrass Festival in 2017.

The band also played for fundraisers throughout the year. During the winter months, they have volunteered to entertain at the Summerside Legion, Bedeque United Church, monthly at the St. Louis Community Center and Tignish Seniors Home. They have also played a number of times at the Alberton Manor.

They love to gather as family and friends and play music that is from the heart, hence where the name was evolved.
