Common Ground

COMMON GROUND was formed in early 2024, with a roster of seasoned musicians. Based in the Annapolis Valley of Nova Scotia, Common Ground balances contemporary sounds with the traditional roots of bluegrass music providing a little something for everyone in their repertoire!

Ryan Dillman has been playing Banjo for most of his life; drawing on influences such as Earl Scruggs, JD Crowe, and Alan Munde. Ryan is passionate about all things banjo!

David Doyle is the group’s Guitarist and lead singer. Drawing inspiration from various artists, from both Bluegrass and Country music, David delivers a song as good as anyone on the Bluegrass circuit today!

Jeff McRae holds down the Bass duties for Common Ground. Rock solid and focused, Jeff has been active in the Bluegrass community for many years, as a fan, event organizer, and great musician.

Waylon Robicheau is the band’s Mandolinist, and resident harmony guru. He is a talented artist, who enjoys playing with multiple groups, and rounds out Common Ground with his clever chops and great vocal style.

When four friends with a passion for bluegrass music get together they find Common Ground – and you should too!
